What happens after the free trial?
Your paid subscription begins automatically when the 30-day trial ends, using the payment method provided at signup. Cancel before the trial ends if you do not want to continue.
Is a credit card required to start?
Yes. A payment method is required to start, but you are not charged for the first 30 days.
What does the base price include?
The plan includes every Avelden feature, up to 100 active units, 150 GB of file storage, and no setup fee.
How are additional units billed?
Active units above the included 100 are $0.50 USD per unit per month. The same unit rate applies whether your base subscription is billed monthly or annually.
How do storage packs work?
After the first paid billing period begins, you can add 250 GB, 500 GB, or 1 TB storage packs. Avelden shows any immediate prorated charge before you confirm the change.
Who pays online payment-processing fees?
Residents paying electronically may be charged a processing fee calculated on a 6% basis, subject to a minimum equivalent to $0.35 USD in the payment currency. The fee is shown separately from the assessment principal during checkout. Avelden retains 1.5% of assessment principal successfully collected, and Stripe may separately deduct its own charges from the association’s connected Stripe account.
How does annual billing work?
The annual plan is charged as $844 USD at the start of each yearly term, equivalent to $70.33 per month and a $116 saving compared with twelve monthly payments. Additional-unit charges are calculated separately and billed monthly.
Can I cancel the subscription?
Yes. You can cancel renewal at any time and continue using Avelden through the end of your current paid billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. Read the Terms of Service.
What happens when units are added during a billing period?
There is no immediate prorated unit charge. Avelden counts active units near renewal and adds any usage above 100 to the upcoming invoice.
What happens if we exceed the included storage?
New uploads are paused when your association reaches its storage allowance. An administrator can free space or add a storage pack after the trial; existing files remain available according to their permissions.
Can we export our data?
Community owners receive a downloadable archive of association files as part of the community-closure process. For other operational data-export needs, contact hello@avelden.com before closing the account so we can confirm what can be provided. Contact support.
